Woo hoo! Another finish for the 2011 challenge! I did make a couple of minor thread changes. One of the colors disappeared on this linen, so I substituted other colors already used in this design. I also made my initials Tea Rose instead of Avocado like the other letters.
Did you notice that the name of the design is on the lower right? I really like that-it is rare to see the name incorporated into the design. This one turned out much cuter than the picture on the pamphlet.
I have been making some progress on some larger projects AND yes, have another new start. More about these as the week progresses! Thanks so much for all your sweet comments-I do treasure them and they inspire me to keep stitching. Have a great week!

ReplyDeleteYour finish came out great. I do think that the stitch piece always looks so much better than pictures that we see. I can't tell you how many charts I pass up in the store only to see that someone has stitched it and it looks wonderful!!

This is just lovely and such a pick-me-up in winter time!
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning piece, Teresa! It makes me want to run to my stash and start it myself. BBD is good at incorporating the title of the design in the piece itself: same goes for Rites of Spring, another favourite of mine :o)
ReplyDeleteLovely Blackbird Designs bouquet! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes,
