Mary Glover Update

I hope all of you had a peaceful and blessed Easter weekend.

I am finally caught up on Mary Glover! Of course, the new assignment is due anyday, so I won't be caught up for long :) The top of the sampler is finished. The bottom of the sampler is a rice stitch design and I think it turned out beautifully. The rest of the the sampler appears to be cross stitch and should do up quickly. I hope my next update will be a finish!

Edit: Thanks to Anne Marie for pointing out that I need to put a link to the Mary Glover SAL in this post. Click here.

I am off to my annual stitching retreat on Thursday. It is held at a retired Naval facility on the Pacific coast. The backyard of the home we stay in literally sits on the Pacific ocean. Here is a picture of our backyard from last year. That is a sport court in the backyard.

Our coast is wet and cold in April. Hopefully I will be inside with my head down stitching most of the time and won't notice it!

  4. Have a wonderful trip. Mary Glover looks gorgeous. I envy you that view of the ocean. I'd not be getting stitching done because I can't resist the sight and sound of waves, cold or not.
