A Start, A Finish and Progress

Do you remember Susan Kerndt's Holiday Patches?  This is what it looked like before.  A little progress has been made-see below. I "borrowed" the idea from some stitchers in my local guild and used a beautful cardinal fabric for my main square.
My fingers got sore when pushing the needle thru the fabric, so I took a break. But I am anxious to get going on it some more!

Here is a progress photo of my latest start from Stitching Day. It is Prairie Schooler Country Wise.

Here is my finish! It is Pineberry Lane's Prim Sisters School of Needleworke.  I am seeing it a lot lately on blogs :) A delightful and quick stitch.  Now I just need to finish it into the hanging pocket.

I forgot to show my little sampler boxes that I got from Marly at Samplers and Santas.
She does beautiful work and these are adorable. Thank you, Marly!

I'm off today to have lunch with DD#1 and to visit my first ever Hobby Lobby!  Looking forward to it!

  2. I love all of your stitchy goodness! There is a Hobby Lobby about an hour north of here -- I need to make a trip sometime to see what it's like. Nice boxes from Marly too!

  3. Those Prim Sister's are just too cute, Teresa! Looking forward to seeing your finish. Hope you had some luck at Hobby Lobby. We just got a new one here in Pittsburgh last year, but it is just a bit too far to visit very often...

  8. The more I see of these boxes, the more I want a set! Marly does a wonderful job on them. I love the stitching! I am thinking about doing that club. I had never noticed the PS pattern before but have to get it now. LOL.
