My mother is coming to visit and I had to clear off the ironing board! The ironing board is where I store all my finished stitchy items that still need some work to be able to display. Needless to say the pile was so tall it was starting to tilt and it was PAST time to get some work done on the pile.
Here is the shuttle piece with the Hinzeit stitching inserted. Took about 15 minutes. Why do I let it sit so long?!!
Here is the Sam Sarah flag piece all framed.
Here is the 15 sided-biscornu that I finished stitching last year. I added the beads and put it together. The button is from etsy.
This Prairie Schooler ornament has been sitting for well over a year. I added some perle cotton cross stitches along the edges and two safety pins.
My first try at an Easter egg on perforated paper. Hmmm.... I'll keep trying.
This is from Elegant Stitch in California-one of their Breast cancer awareness kits-can't remember which year.
I combined the keyfob from a different breast cancer awareness kit with this box. I made the pincushion too. Darling set!
Two small stitching finishes-
This Goode Huswife design is going to be part of a gift exchange at an annual retreat in November.
Another Just Nan tin design finish-Grow
I was gifted several partially stitched items from a friend. These are the ones I finish-finished-
A hardanger bookmark, perforated paper Christmas ornament and 2 butterfly ornaments,
a little vintage table scarf,
and a bunny ornament (still to be done).
That's it for now. Much more still left on the ironing board!
Everything looks great! Nothing like a visit from a relative to get you going!
