Mount Rushmore on the 4th of July! So inspiring, but the crowd was huge!
Yellowstone National Park-this was my third visit in about 6 or 7 years. The views are wonderful and so worth going to see. But I've had enough until the younger grandkids get older.
Then we picked up my mother in Indiana and brought her out to Seattle to spend the summer with us-
Then it was back to real life-watching grandkids, gardening, real estate, ebay auctions...
And more recently the first day of school for two grandkids-
GD#1 LOVED the first day of preschool. She would go back every day if she could.
And my experienced GS#1--how did he get to 6th grade?? Time flies even faster with the grandkids then it did with the kids-

Looks like you had a fun-filled Summer!

Lovely summer! I mived from Indiana to Vancouver- is your mom going to move here?
ReplyDeleteGreat post! Love the picture of your Mom reading the the great grandchildren! But love the 4-generations one too! Such a wonderful shot of Mount Rushmore! Hubby has expressed an interest in going to Grand Canyon... that will take a LOT of planning. But first he wants to see Niagara Falls... AGAIN, much planning cause it is quite a ways north of us! Thanks for sharing! Hugs!
