Plum Blossom Kimono
24 ct grey congress cloth
Various called-for silks
Here is what I have accomplished after my first-ever needlepoint class this past weekend! I know it doesn't look like much got done. But I learned a lot about technique (which I sorely needed). And I feel very confident to move on. To see what this is going to look like when finished see below-

Pretty progress pics, Teresa, and so many of them. Love them all, and I'm doing the jardin prive too!
The kimona will be fun to watch take shape :)

WOW, They look great
Such beautiful projects! I especially love the blue flowers on the Jardin Prive and your choice of color for the letters is perfect!
Just love your needlepoint project! I have seen that one before at my local store and thought it was quite striking. I love needlepoint because it offers so much more than cross stitch does. You've done very well for your first class.
Beautiful work on both pieces! That kimono is really gorgeous!
Oh, I love all your stitching.
Ohhh...your projects are so pretty. Love your SAL piece...don't know how much longer I can resist this one.
nice progress....are you looking for any needlepoint patterns...I have some and will not never do not know how to do them! Let me know
Good luck with your processes! Kimono needlework would be a beautiful one!
Best wishes,
Tatyana
That kimono will be fantastic - it looks like lots of fun too. Great going on the WIPs :-)
Great progress on your WIPs, the kimono is going to be stunning
Lovely start on the kimono! Looks like it'll be a lot of fun.
The magenta colour looks good.
They're both beautiful! Love that SAL!
Oh I think that Kimono is going to be very beautiful. I like the Jardin Prive SAL you are working. I also love the BBD Mystery piece you are working on. I've started it but I am almost sure it has ended up at the bottom for now.
Thanks for sharing and your visit.
Jackie.
Teresa, I love your needlepoint project! It looks great. Lovely work on the SAL!
